Audrey, ejemplo de elegancia natural, musa de Givenchy, premiada en un mismo año con un Globo de Oro, un Oscar y un BAFTA. 

Audrey es sinónimo de simplicidad y elegancia. Dicen las malas lenguas que cuando Hubert de Givenchy la recibió para crear el vestuario de «Desayuno con Diamantes», pensó que iba a vestir a la otra Hepburn, a Katharine. En un principio cuando vio la confusión se negó a vestirla, más adelante se arrepentiría de su primera reacción, porque Audrey robaba el corazón de todos los que tuvieron la suerte de conocerla.

De familia adinerada (Su madre era baronesa) pasó parte de su infancia y juventud en Holanda, donde sufrió el hambre y las penurias típicas de la guerra. Cuenta que le pasaron una copia del Diario de Ana Frank en holandés y que su lectura le marcó sobremanera.

Estudiante de danza, sufrió secuelas físicas derivadas de la hambruna, así que tuvo que aceptar que no llegaría a ser primera bailarina, esto hizo que se decantara por la interpretación. Y qué afortunados hemos sido de que tomará esta decisión.

Saltó a la fama gracias a «Vacaciones en Roma» y con «Desayuno con diamantes» enamoró a público y crítica. Aunque esta película es una adaptación bastante edulcorada de la novela original de Truman Capote, y por ello también muy criticada. Si la analizamos en profundidad, no deja de ser una historia sobre la prostitución. Así de arduo.

Bueno, pero este es un blog de moda, no de cine. Así que al lío.

Claves para un look Audrey Hepburn:

Aunque en sus películas la hemos podido ver vistiendo diferentes estilos, hoy quería sacar partido de sus looks más sencillos. Looks que realmente podemos adaptar a nuestro día a día, porque no sé a vosotros, pero a mí va a ser que no me invitan a los Oscars, ni a recepciones todos los días (no entiendo porqué ; )

El look Audrey Hepburn, se caracteriza por ser elegante pero cómodo (Como el de las parisinas)

Esto incluye, el uso de pantalones Capri y faldas midi.

Prendas básicas pero de calidad.

La gabardina como prenda de abrigo, perfecta para días de lluvia, ya sea otoño o primavera.  

Zapatos planos o con poco tacón.

Moño alto.

Grandes gafas de sol.

Perlas, diamantes y bisutería varía.

Ha sido realmente complicado emular a Audrey Hepburn, porque su elegancia innata no admite copias, aún así  hoy me he liado la manta a la cabeza y aquí tenéis el resultado. Probablemente ella llevaría el pañuelo al cuello pero he querido darle una pequeña vuelta y adaptarlo a mi estilo.

It has been really complicated to emulate Audrey Hepburn Look because her innate elegance does not support copies, even though today I have done my best and this is what I finally get, probably she would wear the scarf around her neck but I wanted to give the look my own adaptation.

Audrey Hepburn’s style is timeless, simple and chic.
