Strawberry Fields Forever

Como si de un campo de fresas se tratara floreció esta camisa colgada en su percha mientras iba yo a la caza de rebajas, y no sólo la camisa sino también estos culottes en rojo (que te cojo) encendido.

Y aunque el mítico Strawberry Fields suena a alegría resulta que el Strawberry Field original no era sino el  jardín anexo a una casa de acogida del Ejército de Salvación, en el que Lennon jugaba en su más tierna infancia. Lennon la compuso en Almería allá por el 66 con ayuda de McCartney en aquella época en la que venir a España era lo más, tan exótico como viajar hoy a Papúa Nueva Guinea. Dicen los entendidos que su letra es algo confusa, digo yo que nada que ver con el consumo de drogas mientras la componían, qué va.

Ahí va mi look Strawberry Fields, espero que os guste tanto como a mí.

Por cierto, si caéis por NY no olvidéis pasar por Strawberry Fields en Central Park, construido en memoria de Lennon, asesinado a las puertas del edificio Dakota en Diciembre de 1980. Siempre hay algún nostálgico que ha dejado algún detalle In Memoriam.

As if from a field of strawberries was blooming this shirt hung on his perch while I went hunting for rebates, and not only the shirt but also these culottes in strong red.

And although the title Strawberry Fields sounds to joy it turns out that the original Strawberry Field was the enclosed garden of one of the houses of The Salvation Army in which Lennon played in its infancy. Lennon composed it in Almería in 1966 with the help of McCartney in that time in which coming to Spain was as exotic as to travel today to Papua New Guinea.

The experts say that their lyrics are somewhat confusing, I say that nothing to do with drug use while they composed it, ha!

There it goes my Strawberry Fields look, I hope you like it as much as me.

By the way, if you travel to NY do not forget to stop by Strawberry Fields in Central Park, built in memory of Lennon who was murdered very close to the doors of the Dakota building in December of 1980. There is always some nostalgic that has left some detail In Memoriam.
