¡Dios! ¡Qué tiempo de locos! Ya no sé si sacar ropa de primavera, de otoño, o de veroño.

Como sabréis los que me seguís por Instagram hemos pasado el fin de semana en Londres. Me apetecía hacer un look con toques British para la ocasión, así que en nuestro paseo matinal del Sábado por Notting Hill hicimos estas fotos en All Saints Notting Hill Church. (Podría ser cualquier Iglesia pero no lo es, ¿eh?)

Combiné:

Abrigo de estilo militar: Esta tendencia surgió, como muchas, otras por necesidad. Al finalizar las guerras mundiales las mujeres de los militares comenzaron a reutilizar este tipo de abrigos para su uso personal. La liberación de la mujer, la libertad hippy de los setenta y el underground de los noventa fueron determinantes a la hora de forjar la estética militar que cuenta con guerreras de doble botonadura, cinturones de grandes hebillas, grandes bolsillos y botas y botines como señas de identidad.

En todos los mercadillos de Londres encontré guerreras originales espectaculares, el tema es que al ser a medida del anterior dueño no siempre sientan bien. Yo me probé una con las mangas hasta las rodillas (me sentí pequeña, muy pequeña) tenía una preciosa botonadura en las mangas y no quería cortarlas. Ahora, si vosotros encontráis alguna que os quede bien tendréis el mejor abrigazo estilo militar que podáis encontrar, y encima exclusivo.

Camisa de plumeti, con cuello victoriano: Esta la compré hace un año en Sister Jane en su tienda insignia, situada en la misma Portobello Road. El tejido plumeti está confeccionado en tul pero incluye topos en su trama. Surgió principalmente para vestir a las novias, sobretodo en velos y mangas. Ahora hace ya algunas temporadas que está en nuestros armarios. Me encanta porque es súper sexy, no deja de ser un «insinúo pero no enseño»

Pitillos.

Botines color cereza, que solo usé para el post. El resto del día en zapatillas, seamos realistas, nos metimos unas pateadas de más de 20 kms diarios y no era plan.

Oh my God! What a crazy weather! I do not know whether to wear spring, fall, or summer clothes.

As you know those who follow me on Instagram we have spent the last weekend in London. I wanted to wear a British look for the occasion, so on our Saturday morning walk through Notting Hill we took these photos at All Saints Notting Hill Church. (It could be any Church but it is not, eh?)

I decided to wear:

Military style coat: This trend was born at the end of the world wars, this type of coats were reused by the women of the military. The liberation of women, hippy freedom in the seventies and underground in the nineties were decisive when forging an aesthetic that features double-breasted warriors, belts and large buckles, large pockets and boots and booties as signs of identity.

In all the markets of London I found spectacular original military coats, the point is that being made to the measure of the previous owner they do not always fit well. I tried one with the sleeves to the knees, I felt small, really small, it had a spectacular embroidery in its cuffs so I didn’t want to cut them. But if you, guys, find any that fits you, you will have the best military coat ever and also exclusive.

Plumeti shirt with Victorian collar: I bought this one a year ago at Sister Jane flagship store, located on Portobello Road. The plumeti fabric was born to dress the brides especially in veils and sleeves, but it is in our closets from some seasons ago. I love it because is a super sexy patern. It let imagining but not seeing.

Skinnies

Red booties, that I only wore for the shooting. To be realistic this weekend we almost walked the «London’s Iron Man», so to be truth, I wore sneakers all the time.
