I have a special appreciation to Paris; among other things because my «hubby» asked me to marry him there. I would have said yes in Soria also eating «torreznos», but this now is our secret (Shhh…)
From Paris I love to stroll through its streets, wander aimlessly through the Sacré Coeur area and visit the cemetery of Père Lachaise. I think it is the only city where I always visit the cemetery, not only because there are the tombs of Jim Morrison and Edith Piaf but because this cemetery is a real museum. Not to mention the Eiffel Tower, you get there thinking it’s going to be a mess of irons and you’re surprised by saying «Oh, là là! Chapeau!» (although you don’t know french)
I would have loved to visit Paris with my grandmother, Pepica (The Rare) She had the bad luck to stay widowed very young and with two children, so she went to France to work as a cook while leaving her two children in Valencia. She was a great cook (alright, I know, this is what everyone says about her grandma, but in her case was true)
She was called Pepica the Rare because her grandfather Pepico (we are not very original with naming) knew mathematics, and at that time in a little village lost among orange trees someone who knew of calculations and measurements was automatically called rare. Definitively, I come from a long line of rare people.
Today’s look is inspired by those walks in Paris, perfect for walking on the Rive Gauche or Canal Saint Martin. As I promised, today I show you my Maje jumpsuit (Now on sale) combined with my balloon blouse, it has a «Je ne sais quoi…»
À bientôt!
